Tenneessee

Sitting here in the hotel room, TV going, husband asleep on the bed....very relaxing.  I am looking forward to the new adventures that life is going to be throwing our way.  Looks like we will be relocating to Greeneville/Johnson City, TN soon.  We will see soon enough.  The opportunities that will be put in front of us with Gary attending Tusculum will be amazing.  Keeping fingers crossed.

I know that some look at us moving as a means of running from something, but the way we look at it is...We are only young once.  We are looking to experence things while we still can and enjoy them.  Although there is a part of me that is wanting to get away from the bad memories that are held in Surry County.  Everytime you turn around there is someone from a painful part of your past...kind of makes it hard to heal some of those painful wounds.  Although I have to say that at this point in my life I am very content with the way things are looking.  I that I am loved by many, I know that they will always be there for me, and likewise! 

Now to wake the sleeping bear behind me and hit the town!!

    You are right! You are young, and you need to explore the world while you can! I wish that I could move with you!! This is the time of you life! So Enjoy it to the fullest!

An interesting morning at work... There were 40 kindergarten students inside the bank for a field trip.  Yes you heard correctly, FORTY, five to six year old children!  This did one thing for me, solidified the fact that I do not want children.  I seriously almost had a panic attack when I saw all of them.  Some women are wired for having kids, I am not one of those women. So have you ever had the feeling that sometimes your life is spinning out of control or that every turn you make you hit a brick wall.  Well I feel like I have had one of those weeks.  I don't really know if it is just the stress from work that has me all a-muck or maybe I am stressing about the unknown.  All I know is I need a change and I can't wait.

Ready to Soar

So Gary and I have traveled to Washington DC once again and this time coming back was different.  Something has changed in us.  Coming back was much harder than it was the past couple of times. I know that I have returned with a heavy heart and a dimmed light.  Being in a place where you feel like you belong is all that everyone wants.  I have lived in this area my entire life, but for some reason have never felt like I have truly belonged. My dreams are big.  My ideas are out of the "norm".  My beliefs are not "traditional".  I understand that everyone is wired differently, however I feel a constant pressure here to be something that I am not.  I cannot speak for Gary, but it is my belief that he feels the same way.
