No regrets

Well I haven't done as well with this keeping up with my blogging like I had promised... Yeah I'm bad for that.

So, here's the latest.  The move with the bank was a good one!  I have been very happy with the decision to move branches.  The people I work with are upbeat, dislike drama (a major plus), and just overall nice to work with.  We end up laughing almost daily, most likely because of something I did or said, but it's laughing!  That is what matters most right?!

Okay, now to the nitty gritty portion of the blog the whole personal thoughts and life happenings thing.  Gary and I are going back "home"!!  Can't tell I'm excited at I know.  :)  We have this unexplainable pull to the city.  Maybe it is just that it is completely different from what we are used to, but it has felt more like home than Surry County ever has.  So before this trip I (and Gary I do believe) have been daydreaming about our options.  Yeah, yeah, I know we have talked about moving for years now.  Somehow it feels a little different this time around.   I don't know if maybe time is right or if we are just ready to stop letting fear control our lives, I'm not sure.  Granted we still need to save up a little bit more before we pack our bags and head north.  For those reading this, we originally thought about doing a cookout or some type of get together before we left, however we honestly believe that may make it harder with everyone getting all mushy and weepy eyed.  I am an emotional person already, I don't anyone else to help me!  With that being said, those of you closest to us will get the heads up, everybody else will just have to either find out through Facebook or the grape vine which ever get to you first.  We also have a few more things to purge.  I'm pretty sure I don't want to take all of the crap we have accumulated in the past seven years.  You might be seeing some posts about things we selling.  Most likely it will be next year (I hope) before all of this happens, unless something major changes, so don't freak out just yet everyone.

I am honestly afraid of living my life in fear of what may happen or not happen.  Tired of wondering if people will be okay if I left.  Tired of sitting on the back burner waiting for the right time to come along.  I want to experience life not just watch if from the safety of my security blanket.  I want to shed that blanket and spread my wings and soar!  Although I might need a splint for a wing or maybe both, I don't want to regret it.
